moral munters

Devoured a whole book of J.K Baxters poetry last night. Amazing. He is quite amazing.
But it got Tim and I to thinking.... why is it that these prophets, with no-doubt God words to speak into society, are so messy... corruptable.... morally compromised? (Think Martin Luther King)

Could it be that, more than the average "citizen", these people are truly on the enemy's top ten most wanted list?

yeah...
totally good point.

or what about that the radical/adventursome/recklessness aspect of their personaility that enabled all the Fantastic stuff to occur, leads them down some perilous paths as well?

Yep, good image Jo. And Gods grace is so encompassing that it doesn't even effect their message too much eh. I mean, MLK was still effective in the civil rights movement.
All Im left wondering is what in the world do loans and diet pills have to do with each other? Let alone compromised prophets.

It reminds me of houdini. I think thats why they use it, to evoke images of escaping- "free the skinny person inside" kind of thing.
I think it could be a good exclamation when things go wrong: "HOODIA!" instead of "RATS" or other worser words.
